Maryann "Cadbury" C. Fremion recently returned from China where she took a three week law school course on Chinese Law at Peking University. She then worked for 2 months at Kangxin Partners P.C., an Intellectual Property law firm, in Beijing, China. When you see her at reunion, be sure to ask her about all the exotic dishes she (BRAVELY) tried while there! Cadbury is currently back in the States at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.

Janet "Phlip" Wilson Carey began taking piano lessons a year ago. She performed a piano recital for friends, family (and some complete strangers!) on July 22, 2008. The beste part -- Philip asked each of her family members to perform with her! Her daughter, Kelly "Wallaby" Carey Ortiz, joined Phlip for a Duo Piano on "Jamaican Rumba".
The program for the recital was:
--Janet Carey, Piano:
Bach, Partita No. III in A Minor - Fantasie Mozart, Sonata VII - Allegro Beethoven, Contra Dance II - Allegretto Dohnanyi, Vier Rhapsodien, Opus 11 No. e
--with family: Bizet, Overture from "Carmen" John Carey, Xylophone Billy Joel, "Lullaby" (Goodnight, My Angel) Eddie Ortiz, Tenor Dvorak, Sonatina in G major, Opus 100 Scherzo and Vivace Thomas Carey, Violin Norman and Simon, "Race You To The Top Of The Morning" from "The Secret Garden" Seth Carey, Tenor Benjamin, "Jamaican Rumba" Kelly Ortiz and Janet Carey, Duo Piano
From Phlip: "I will say this, of all the "big" moments in my life, to have the honor of playing along with these talented musicians, and knowing that they are all members of my family, was a unique and humbling experience. We had about 145 people there and people said some awfully nice things.
It was pretty cool and I love to watch the dvd... mostly the others' songs. I don't spend a lot of time watching my own pieces."
