HeidelbergCollege offers students an excellent education in a personalized atmosphere. The Berg is a small learning community which means that getting to know your professors, making friends, and participating in campus activities is easily accomplished. One of the best ways to get the most out of the school's environment is to GO GREEK!
Perhaps the most unique element of the Heidelberg experience is the Greek societies – open to men and women - that exist only at HeidelbergCollege. Not fraternities. Not sororities. Greek Societies. We are social organizations built on principles of philanthropy and camaraderie. While the primary focus as individuals must be academics (after all, students are at Heidelberg for that reason!), the Greek Societies on campus foster participation in college activities and charitable efforts for various groups in the Tiffin community. All of these activities develop abilities as planners, organizers, and leaders; skills that have value way beyond life at college.
Of course, it's not ALL about work. The Phis always make room for lots of fun! Do Ye Beste is our motto and it applies to ALL that we do.
Most importantly, though, we are friends. Our loyalty and support of each other has eased the transition from high school and home, to college life, and then into the “real world.” We truly are sisters, a sisterhood not limited to current students at Heidelberg, but to Heidelberg Phi graduates all over the world.
